To the People of Texas & All Volunteers in North Texas

Fellow citizens & compatriots, We are besieged, by hundreds of students from area public schools, homeschool and private school students. We have sustained a continual bombardment of planning, preparing and fundraising for 12 months & have not lost a man( well maybe a few.) The enemy of bad weather, time and money have demanded a surrender, otherwise, the Texas Independence Day Celebration would have been put to the sword. We have answered the weather, time and money enemy with a cannon shot of prayer, & our passion for the cause. Our flag still waves proudly. We shall never
surrender or retreat. Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the Texan character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch. We need volunteers to reinforce our efforts. The enemies of history are alive and well and will no doubt increase the next four or five years, demanding our heroes—Travis, Bowie and more—names be removed from buildings and defamed. If this call is neglected, we remain determined to sustain our efforts to share the truth of our history and heritage to the next generation for as long as possible & live like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country. VICTORY OR DEATH.
