Enjoy Texas historic heroes interactive presentations and Texas-size, free concerts.

May 14, 2021 – Friday 9 am – 4 pm
May 15, 2021 – Saturday 10 am to 4 pm
Friday and Saturday Concerts from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Bring your family and lawn chairs to the 3629 Fall Creek Hwy near the Acton Cemetery in Acton, Texas. The Stroll and concerts are free events.
Meet the Heroes
Descendants of Texas Heroes along with the Fort Worth Legends present Smith, Travis, Houston, Bowie, Sequin, and more. Meet Crockett descendants. Enjoy black powder demonstrations, a blacksmith, Native Americans’ customs, and Texas heroes interactive presentations. Join us as we celebrate the birth of the Republic of Texas with the signing of the Treaties of Velasco in 1836.

Mike & Alecia Echols (Friday ONLY)- the Blue-Eyed Fiddler and the Princess, “Orange Blossom Special” to “Faded Love,”.
Ridge Roberts – National Fiddle Champion. appearing on the Grand Ole Opry in 2021 and this time Ridge sings.
The Vanderveer Brothers String Band (Saturday ONLY)- Old-time and Celtic traditional tunes, while also adding their special touch to each song.
